Jordon Schlitzer

I grew up around horses and I can remember watching old westerns at a young age thinking I’m going to be like that when I grow up. When I got to high school I started to find interest in rodeo. I went up to Fort Scott Kansas community college and enrolled in their rough stock program. I rode bulls for a while but came to realize with my athleticism there was no money in it for me. I got out of the rodeo world and went to work doing construction. This was a great path for me at a young age that taught me the discipline of hard work. I spent my early working years installing automatic entry systems and eventually went on to take a job as an estimator and project manager for a commercial glazing company. Though this work was fun and challenging I knew a desk job just wasn’t going to fulfill me. After a lot of late nights and deep thoughts I had an idea. This idea would be the premise of Stable Master. I decided to launch the company and haven’t looked back. The Equine industry is such an amazing space that I am grateful to be apart of. If it wasn’t for horses I’d still be sitting at a desk.

Alyssa Smotherman

Alyssa is a mother to a 7 year old little boy. She has always had a passion for horses since she was a little girl. She always wanted her own, and when she was a freshman in high school she wrote an essay and won a $350 scholarship to put towards a registered animal for her FFA project. She became apart of HorsePower back in 2017, which is a non profit organization that uses horses as therapy for foster/adopt kids. Alyssa was a horse handler and was given the opportunity to teach young kids (who were terrified of horses) the basics of general horse care and riding. Alyssa is not shy to hard work. Not only does she work EARLY mornings for us, she also has a fulltime job as an Account Manager for a print advertisement firm. Alyssa certainly has a love for animals, with 4 cats, 2 dogs, and 4 kittens.

Blayne Kauffman

We first met Blayne at one of our barns we contract with, where she boarded her horse Dually. After having gotten to know her, it was clear she was someone we wanted on the team.Blayne has been obsessed with horses as long as she can remember, growing up she would jump on any opportunity to go spend time at the barn. Dually is her first horse. He was started through a program at Colby Community College and eventually brought home, she has now owned him for 3 years and he is accompanied by her mare Diva! When Blayne isn’t grinding her days out doing barn work, she enjoys concerts and discovering new restaurants. Blayne currently competes and has a passion for starting young horses.

Ava Alvarez

Ava started riding horses only 7 years ago. Throughout the past 7 years she has worked to climb up the levels in eventing. She is currently competing preliminary with her 11-year-old off the track thoroughbred mare "Isn't She Lovely", known in the barn as Oso. Ava and Oso recently moved to the Ocala, Florida area to train and move up the levels. Ava has been helping Stable Master run smoothly behind the scenes through our media via the website and social media. She will be the person behind the scenes working to bring Stable Master down south to service those in the Ocala and surrounding areas, so be on the lookout!

Manuel “Manny” Ordaz

Manny was born in Michoacan, Mexico but has lived in Kansas most of his life. In Mexico he worked on his father's ranch, which he still owns and operates today. Manny is experienced in corrective shoeing and equine medicine. Though he enjoys his job and loves working around horses, in his free you can usually catch him attending horse races. His entire life is devoted to living in the lifestyle of horses. Manny is a father, a brother, a son, and an all around amazing person to be around.

Otoniel Saldana

Otoniel is our newest team member! He is highly qualified and has a knack for horses. Through his demeanor and attitude, you can tell he truly connects with the horses. He has traveled to many places like Illinois, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, and Mississippi to groom. It is not unnoticed that Otoniel is also a proud family man, great father, and husband.
